Help needed – Bee Keeper / Removal experience?

We have a monster hive complete with honeycomb and everything. You can even see where the honey has stained the stucco.

If you have experience with a vompany or individual that performs bee removal please let me know.

I’m sure this will be a cheap fix. Ugh.

w00t! I’d line up for this place and I don’t eat chicken! >> New Hampshire Chick-fil-A Will Sponsor Gay Pride Fest

This is the great, and kudos to this man for standing up and doing what is right!

The Chick-fil-A manager in Nashua, New Hampshire is flying the coop. Though Chick-fil-A’s president Dan Cathy announced in mid-July that he was opposed to gay marriage — causing quite a stir — Anthony Piccola, the manager of the chain’s New Hampshire branch, has chosen a diverging path, helping to sponsor a gay pride festival in Manchester, N.H. in August.

Something oddly satisfying about this headline – “Two Gorillas Destroy Poachers’ Traps in Rwanda”

It would clearly be better if the gorillas were just left alone, and I suppose it is somewhat refreshing to hear that that poachers aren’t explicitly hunting them. But the notion that the poachers will leave gorillas tangled in their traps, and that these gorillas dismantled the traps, makes me smile. As one of the comments on the story says … “smarter than a log of people I’ve seen …”

In Rwanda, two young gorillas teamed up to take down several traps in their area of forest.

Article: Why Are American Kids So Spoiled? : The New Yorker

I don’t have the historical knowledge to know whether or not this quote is accurate, but it sure is shocking … And a good read if you are or you know a parent in the USA.

Why Are American Kids So Spoiled? : The New Yorker

With the exception of the imperial offspring of the Ming dynasty and the dauphins of pre-Revolutionary France, contemporary American kids may represent the most indulged young people in the history of the world.
